GSA Foundation 25th Anniversary

It's Your Foundation

The GSA Foundation began its 25th Anniversary Campaign in December, 2005. The goal of the multi-year Campaign is to raise significant funds for GSA programs, custodianship for monies raised, and distribution of income and principal in accord with donor restrictions in order to meet program and grant requirements of GSA and the Foundation.

If the Foundation is successful, the Society will be successful!

The Foundation can be successful when YOU, the members of the Society, support your professional home base with donations and pledges to the Foundation. The most important resource of the Foundation is you, the GSA member. Please consider donating to the level you can in this special 25th Anniversary Campaign. Honor your affiliation in this Society by supporting the mechanism that helps sustain the growth and successful of GSA-the GSA Foundation.

Our goal in this 25th Anniversary Campaign is to receive donations and pledges for a minimum of $1,000,000 for each of the next five years to support GSA's greatest needs. The current GSA greatest needs list includes:

• The GeoCorps Program.
• Education and Outreach Programs.
• Student Research Grants.
• The Congressional Science Fellowship.
• Field Forums.
• Headquarters building maintenance and remodeling.
• International and domestic travel support.
• Publications.

The Foundation's ultimate goal is to receive a $20,000,000 endowment to ensure an annual working budget of $1,000,000 that would help meet GSA's greatest needs.

This annual goal can be achieved by:

• 25 gifts of $10,000 each, plus
• 50 gifts of $5,000 each, plus
• 100 gifts of $2,500 each, plus
• 250 gifts of $1,000 each.
