EarthCaching

 

GPSripplesEarthCaching is and earth-science educational offshoot of the very successful GPS driven adventure game of Geocaching. Using a GPS, participants visit earth science-significant sites where they learn about some aspect of the Earth. After their visit, participants write about their experience and the educational notes and other information are all found on a website (www.earthcache.org).

 

EarthcacheGSAThere are currently 1500 Earthcaches in 45 countries (in fact at least on one every continent) and they have been visited by over 97,000 people.
