EarthCache  EarthCache is an earth-science educational offshoot of the very successful GPS driven adventure game of Geocaching. Using a GPS, participants visit earth science-significant sites where they learn about some aspect of the Earth. After their visit, participants write about their experience, and the educational notes and other information are all found on a website - www.earthcache.org.
 There are currently over 8300 Earthcaches in 45 countries (in fact at least on one every continent) and they have been visited by over 100,000 people.
