Roy J. Shlemon Mentor Program in Applied Geoscience: The Shlemon Mentor Programs are designed to extend the mentoring reach of individual professionals from applied geology to undergraduates and graduate students attending GSA Section Meetings. Over free lunches, mentors and students discuss professional opportunities and challenges that await students after graduation. more info

 

Geology in Government Mentor Program: Held at the GSA annual meeting, this free event connects geoscience mentors associated with public agencies to GSA's student members in an informal Q&A luncheon setting.

 

The Mann Mentor Programs are focused on Applied Hydrogeology and the career possibilities that this specialty encompass. The programs, held at both the Annual and Section Meetings, encourage interactive conversation and networking opportunities between students interested in pursuing applied hydro careers and those professionals currently engaged in applied hydrogeology or hydrology. more info

 

Geology in Industry Mentor Program: Held at the GSA annual meeting, this free event connects geoscience mentors associated with industry to GSA's student members in an informal Q&A luncheon setting.

 

Women in Geology Mentor Program: held at the GSA annual meetings. It will address the issues faced by women in geology in a relaxed forum for socializing and sharing ideas.
